Welcome to Simply Real: a Blog about living 'real' life...simply. And peacefully...and beautifully...and joyously..I could go on and on. There are so many sites and blogs with amazing homes, or decor or stories and I love them, I could read them all day long but I can't "do" much with them becasue they are out of my reach. I wanted a Blog that could still be inspiring packed with ideas and projects and beautiful stories and images all about a "real" life that anyone could be living...open, honest, & funny...life should ALWAYS include laughter! I bid goodbye to 2011 and gladly welcome 2012. This past year was one of hardship, stress & deep loss for our family and so many others I know. I would say that I want it gone and forgotten, but instead I will take with me what I have learned from this year and march into 2012 with strength, focus, excitement & a new appreciate for what is TRULY important in life: the love and support of God, family and true, real friends.

Goodbye to drama, goodbye to fear replaced by a emphatic “Happy New Year!!”.
